Weatheringthestorm And Keen Lassie Bred - In Foal Status To Be Checked In Fourteen To Sixteen Days
Barre, Massachusetts - April 1, 2011 - Both Weatheringthestorm and Keen Lassie were bred for the first time on Thursday. Weatheringthestorm was bred to Scat Daddy, whose first two year olds at auction have brought $400,000, $220,000, $170,000, and $125,000, etc. Keen Lassie was bred to Purim, a grade one winning son of sire of sires, Dynaformer. Cheree Barwick of Ashford Stud reported that the Weatheringthestorm's cover to Scat Daddy went well and without incident and she was back in her stall relaxing and eating hay by two in the afternoon. Tom Ackerman of Mahogany Hill Farm reported that Keen Lassie had been covered by Purim at approximately three in the afternoon. She handled the van ride well both to and from Richland Hills, where Purim stands. She returned to Mahogany Hill Farm at approximately five o'clock. Both covers are considered to have been successful. Both mares will be ultrasounded in fourteen to sixteen days to check on their in foal status. We are offering Weatheringthestorm as a breed to sell partnership and Keen Lassie as a breed to race partnership. There is still time for those of you who are interested to become involved. Please contact me if you would like more information. Thank you, Renee Doyle
